Following up their Halloween themed “Ghosts Under Glass”
event, the Mitchell Park Domes kicked off the annual “Music Under Glass”
concert series on the first on the month. The series runs through March
fourteenth, and features a number of local acts, as well as prizes and
attractions. Shows take place every Thursday for the four month long run, with
all proceeds going towards the botanical gardens and Milwaukee County Parks.
Every show night at the Domes will themed in tune with the
tunes. The Liam Ford opened the “Man In Black Night” last Thursday, paying
tribute to the late-great Johnny Cash. The night also featured a $5 admission
special, giving adults a $1.50 discount on the usual $6.50 charge.
Other featured themes during November will be the “Intimate
Lobby Night” with the Mary Davis Trio on the eighth. A free blood screening
will also be offered that night. A “Beatles Tribute Night” will follow on the
fifteenth, and hours will be extended for Thanksgiving night with the
Whiskeybelles. Admission for the event is $6.50 for adults, and $5 for
children ages six-to-seventeen.
