Jonas Brothers Tickets Going to be Hot Commodity!

Summerfest announced the Jonas Brothers would be coming to the Marcus Amphitheater during their ten rockin' days of Milwaukee's Summer. The Jo Bro concert will be July 6, 2008 with a yet un-named opening act. I am happy because it's one less concert I need to see and because it will make many of Milwaukee's tweens who weren't able to get in to their sold-out Rave show, very happy.

Ticketmaster will begin selling Jonas Brothers tickets on Saturday, March 15 at 11am for $20-$55 before service charges. My guess is that you can be certain the red section seats will be sold out within minutes; it's what will happen with the rest of the tickets that will surprise me. If they can sell out a 23,000 capacity amphitheater, I will have been wrong.
This Brew City Ticket guest-writer would like to plead with Summerfest for one, just one show, that is up my alley.
Happy Leap Day!

Jimmy Buffett Coming to Alpine Valley

Every year you know he's coming, but until it is officially announced, you hold your breathe. It is confirmed that Jimmy Buffett will be coming back to Alpine Valley on July, 19, 2008.

Jimmy Buffett tickets are at two levels for the show. Lawn seats at Alpine Valley through Ticketmaster are $36 each before service charges and all of the Alpine Valley reserved seating for Buffett will be $135 or so before charges. The show always is a huge deal for the vast number of Parrotheads who call the Milwaukee area home.

Here is the drink I would need to fully enjoy the show as I know only "Cheeseburger in Paradise".
Recipe taken from Jimmy Buffett's website:

INCOMMUNICADO

.5 oz Vodka

.5 oz Margaritaville® Silver Tequila

.5 oz Rum

.5 oz Triple Sec

.25 oz Gin

.25 oz Grenadine

1 oz Pineapple juice

1 oz Cranberry juice

1.5 oz Margaritaville® Margarita Mix

Combine ingredients in a shaker. Shake and pour into a margarita glass with ice.

Police Tickets for Milwaukee Not Cheap, but Worth It

We were waiting for a long time last summer for The Police to announce a show in Milwaukee. Little did we know the announcement would come A YEAR LATER. Beggars can't be choosers. The Police are going to play July 25, 2008 at the Marcus Amphitheater on Milwaukee's Summerfest grounds. I am slightly surprised they couldn't come a few weeks earlier when a million people hit Summerfest. Bob Babish couldn't get it done I guess OR Sting needed to have that 8 hour sex-capade with Trudie over the 4th of July. You know, they said on Orpah that they sit and stare at one another and breath in each other's breath. Can you imagine? Love or crazy. You decide. Nevertheless, Police tickets should be a hot ticket, not a cheap ticket for Milwaukeeans this summer. Face value for Police tickets runs to $230 for good seats in the front three sections of the Marcus Amphitheater.
Here is the Police setlist from their February 17, 2008 show.
Message in a Bottle
Synchronicity II
Walking On The Moon
Voices Inside My Head
When The World Is Running Down
Don't Stand So Close To Me

De Do Do Do De Da Da Da
Invisible Sun
Walking In Your Footsteps
Can't Stand Losing You
Roxanne

Every Breath You Take
Next To You
Like it? Worth your price of admission?

Bon Jovi Tickets for Milwaukee Show at Bradley Center

It is hard to believe that this Bon Jovi show is finally right around the corner given that it was announced last summer. Practically.

Football season is over; it is time to catch some great deals on Milwaukee concert tickets. The Bon Jovi show being one of them. A Milwaukee ticket broker has Bon Jovi tickets listed for half of what they were for their show at Summerfest last summer. While I haven't witnessed "Livin' on a Prayer", “Have A Nice Day”, “Wanted Dead Or Alive”, “It’s My Life” or“You Give Love A Bad Name” in person, I hear they put on a FANTASTIC show.

If Jon Bon Jovi isn't your cup of tea, another ticket deal in Milwaukee might be to lock in some Milwaukee Brewers tickets. My thought is this team is going all the way, so I am going to lock in some dates for Miller Park before they start the season and prices rise.
