Milwaukee Brewers Tickets

Hey, ya lose a few games and what happens to your team's ticket prices in the secondary ticket market? The prices go down fella.

While the Milwaukee Brewers hang on by a thread in the National Central Division with the Chicago Cubs a game up on them, hopeful fans can grab Milwaukee Brewers tickets at a lower price than they may have seen for some time. There are only a handful of home stands left at Miller Park, most notably the St. Louis Cardinals series at the end of September when the two teams could be fighting for a position in major league baseball's post season.

Grab cold one and a few tickets in Bernie's Terrace and let's see if Geoff Jenkins and Prince Fielder and the boys can go all the way!

Wisconsin Badgers Football Season Tickets

My old college roommate just shot me an email regarding her Wisconsin Badgers Football Season Tickets and said her Badger Football Tickets arrived in the mail today. The Badgers Football games at Camp Randall are always a hot topic as we traditionally pick a game to relive our super fun college days spent on State Street, primarily at the Library. Ok, I mean Monday's. There are a few games which seem like obvious choices, Wisconsin Badgers vs. Michigan on Saturday, November 10, already billed as the Big 10 game of the year!

With the Wisconsin Badgers Football team coming out of the gate ranked number 7, Wisconsin Badgers tickets are going to be a hotter commodity than ever. Those Badgers Season Ticket holders want to go to the game. They don't care about the cash they make selling their tickets to a local ticket broker. My advise is that if you want to see a game at Camp Randall while the Badgers are hot and, at least, Rose Bowl bound, I would snap up any tickets you can afford!

Go Bucky!

Who is Hannah Montana?

I cannot believe this Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus "Best of Both Worlds" thing? Hannah Montana tickets are going for thousands of dollars. I literally heard someone say, "Hannah Montana or Hawaii" kids? I can say definitely that questions will NEVER come out of my mouth. $1200 for a front row ticket to a Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana concert and you need 6 of them? OMG! She is skipping the Bradley Center in Milwaukee and playing the Allstate arena in Chicago on Saturday, September 8.

Now don't get me wrong, when I was that age of her fans, I too wanted to see whoever was hip, cool, now...for me, that was Madonna. Who, by the way, is pretty darn good today. At least her body is. I digress.

I really have very little to add to this topic. Hannah Montana = EXPENSIVE. Stay away Moms and Dads. Don't do it!

Van Halen Tour!

Come Monday, Van Halen fans will have plenty to JUMP about!! That's the day the band will be announcing the dates and locations for their upcoming 50-city tour!

The band lineup will be David Lee Roth on vocals, Eddie Van Halen on guitar, Alex Van Halen on drums and Wolfgang Van Halen on bass. This tour will mark the first time since 1984 that Roth will be performing with the band.

I hope they will find it in their hearts to make a stop in Milwaukee! I know their are plenty of fans and I think the Bradley Center would be a perfect stop for their all-arena tour. I guess for now I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed until Monday!

Milwaukee. Not Named Spice City.

So the Spice Girls are reuniting; so what. They didn't pick our great city by a great lake as the next "Spice City". That distinction went to Toronto.

Well, we have plenty other great acts coming our way. Dave Matthews Band always plays a weekend at Alpine Valley. This year the DMB will play August 25 and 26. The Saturday night show sold out immediately through the box office, with Sunday darn close to a sell out. If history repeats itself, this is the week to lock in Dave Matthews Band tickets for Alpine Valley, as all the latecomers get on board.

Rumors of an Eagles / Dixie Chicks tour were confirmed, although no dates were listed for the Midwest yet. I would be surprised if we didn't see this concert coming to the Bradley Center. It smells of a Saturday night in the middle of a cold Wisconsin winter.

Who else is on tap? We have Rush and Brad Paisley, separately of course, closing out the Marcus Amphitheater season for 2007. There is the ever popular WWE RAW tickets which went on sale last weekend. It never ceases to amaze me how everyone I ever talk with about wrestling needs to sit first row ringside. Never anywhere else. Are the rest of the people in the stands just seat fillers for TV, a la the Oscars?

An article in Rolling Stone about The Police positioned for additional US dates in to 2008. Even with poor reviews, I think The Police coming to Milwaukee would be a good thing. Hey, if Def Leppard can sell out year after year; The Police can sell out a night at the Bradley Center!
