Disney's Lion King at the Milwaukee Theatre in February

Disney's Tony-award winning, The Lion King went on sale through Ticketmaster a month or so ago for the month-long run in Milwaukee at the Milwaukee Theatre. The show runs from February 3, 2008 - March 2, 2008.

Award-winning director Julie Taymor brought this story to life for the Broadway audience years ago, and now we will get an opportunity to see this incredible spectacle in our own backyard.

Elton John's "Circle of Life" and "Can you feel the love tonight" will be taking Lion King audiences away from the cold Milwaukee winter to the warmth of Africa just for the price of Lion King tickets.

There were numerous opportunities to buy Broadway Across America season tickets or group packages for the Lion King. Face value went anywhere from $50-$125 or so. There are performances every day, but Monday, with Matinee performances on both Saturday and Sunday.

I know I will be sitting in the Center Orchestra for the show, on an aisle to be closest to the cast as they come down the many aisles of the Milwaukee Theatre. I would say that there won't be many bad seats for this show, but seats on the good aisle in Sections 2, 3 or 4, 10-15 rows from the stage will be the best.
